Building the digital infrastructure for an organisation focused on developing the people who will build Nigeria.
NIDC Foundation needed a digital presence capable of communicating its mission, programmes and impact while also supporting the systems required to engage with applicants, donors and the wider public.
BendingWaters approached the project as more than a website build. We developed a complete digital platform, combining brand development, product design, web application development and production infrastructure into one connected system.
The result is a full Next.js web application covering ten core public experiences: Home, About, Programs, Sectors, Apply, Donate, Impact, Contact, FAQs and Blog. Each section was designed to make the organisation's work easier to understand while giving different audiences clear paths to explore, participate and engage.
Beyond the public-facing experience, we developed an authentication system and application workflow with an administrative control system, giving the organisation the ability to manage its internal processes rather than relying entirely on manual operations.
We also established the technical infrastructure behind the platform. This included registering and configuring the nidcfoundation.org domain, DNS configuration, SSL security and custom organisational email.
The application was deployed on Vercel with environment-specific configuration, automatic preview deployments and a CI/CD pipeline connected directly to the project repository. This created a production workflow where changes could be tested through previews and deployed reliably without traditional downtime.
Alongside the technology, BendingWaters also worked on the organisation's brand setup and visual identity, ensuring the digital platform had a coherent foundation that could extend beyond the website.
The final product is a modern, mobile-first digital platform designed around performance, accessibility and scalability, giving NIDC Foundation both a public-facing home and the underlying systems to operate and grow digitally.
